American Dawn knocked my socks off every day!! She is a dahlia that will stand through just about any weather and fend off insects. Her sturdy stems surprised me time and time again; no matter how much I cut her, she grew back with more blooms in what seemed like minutes. Her color is similiar to that of mystique but with a purple-y center. Her color is an unusual deep corally-salmon-pink. She is truly one of a kind. A must have for a cutting garden.
